October is Bike Shop Appreciation

At the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, we know that our local bike shops are the heartbeat of our cycling community. From helping us find the perfect ride to keeping our bikes tuned and ready for adventure, these small businesses make it possible for us to explore the Pikes Peak region on two wheels.

That’s why we’re celebrating Bike Shop Appreciation Month throughout October!

Each Saturday, our Bike Tribe group rides will roll out to visit local bike shops around Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. It’s a great chance to meet the friendly faces who keep our gears turning, discover new shops, and show your support by shopping local. Whether you’re picking up a new set of tires, grabbing some trail snacks, or just saying thanks, every visit makes a difference.

Supporting local bike shops helps strengthen our cycling community in so many ways:

• You get expert advice from people who ride the same roads and trails you do

• Your dollars stay in the community, supporting local jobs and events

• You help keep the culture of cycling alive and thriving in the Pikes Peak region

And the fun doesn’t stop there! On October 25, we’re hosting a private appreciation event at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort just for local bike shop employees, including a night to ride, time to relax with friends, and celebrate all our local bike shops do to keep us rolling!
