Exciting Happenings in and around Colorado Springs this May 2025:

So many good things are happening this May in and around Colorado Springs here are just a few things that peaked our interest!

This weekend on Saturday, May 3rd is the 7th Annual Walk Run Roll for Daniel, it's not too late to register to walk, run, or ride for a good cause and support Buffalo Lodge owner, Torie's son, Daniel's ongoing battle with cancer! A huge THANK YOU to the record number of folks who have registered!

On May 10th come for the 32nd Annual Hummingbird Festival at the Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center. This free family friendly event is a celebration of the return of the fantastic hummingbirds to North Cheyenne Canon Park. Find more information, here.

We’re thrilled to be hosting an unforgettable Monopoly Game Night with Esther Lee from Pikes Peak Dreams Home Realty on Monday, May 12! Bring a friend and roll the dice on the new Colorado Springs Monopoly board, you might even win a board to take home!

On May 17 & 18, try your luck on the Run to the Shrine at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, register here. This 4-mile casual run/walk winds through the Zoo and up to Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun. Enjoy stunning views of Colorado Springs below while ascending nearly 1,000 feet in elevation, before descending back down into the Zoo. Run to the Shrine is the only time foot traffic is allowed on Shrine Road.

We have an epic Memorial Day Weekend planned here at the Buffalo Lodge, with free Live at the Lodge Music on Friday through Sunday with music by Wirewood Station, Tiny Pockets, and Snowmelt Bluegrass plus there will be Food Trucks, and the All City Bike Ride on Monday, May 26!
