The Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort team has successfully ridden and returned from Iowa for the 53rd RAGBRAI (Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa)!

This rolling celebration of Iowa attracts participants from all 50 states and many foreign countries. It has covered thousands of miles through the years, and hundreds of thousands of riders have hopped in the saddle to pedal part of those miles. They rode 391 miles total with 16,027 feet of total elevation climb!

August 8 - Rocky Mountain Flower Festival

Join us for Rocky Mountain Flower Fest, a summer evening celebration where live music, blooming fields, and community come together at our flower farm in the foothills of Pikes Peak.

Set against rows of seasonal flowers and sweeping mountain views, this festival blends the relaxed beauty of the farm with the energy of live bluegrass, Americana, and folk music. Wander the fields, gather flowers, enjoy local food and drink, and soak in the joy of a Colorado summer night.

Rocky Mountain Flower Fest is more than a music event — it’s a celebration of agriculture, creativity, and community in the heart of Colorado Springs. Come spend the day on the farm, support local artists and musicians, and make memories surrounded by flowers.

August 8 - Super Saturday at the Western Museum of Mining

In the 1890s, Reynolds Ranch was a thriving dairy farm and apple orchard at the foot of Pikes Peak. Today, you can experience that history firsthand. Join WMMI for Farming & Ranching Super Saturday — a family-friendly celebration of Colorado’s agricultural roots, with unique exhibitors, live outdoor machinery demonstrations, and so much more. Experience the unique history of Colorado on the last Victorian farmhouse in Colorado Springs. The Reynolds Ranch House is the lone remnant of the former town of Husted, Colorado.

August 21-23 - Colorado Springs Comic Con

Comic book fans, come meet some of the best names in the comic art community, as well as the greatest vendors in the area with hard-to-find treasures.

Autographs, photo ops, shopping, and memories are all on the agenda for fans near and far!

August 26 - Early Bird Hike & Bike the Garden - 5-8 am

The Early Bird Hike & Bike at Garden of the Gods is an opportunity to enjoy the park and its roadways without motor vehicles.

As always, entrance to the park is free. Free Parking. Parking is available at Parking Lot #1, near the park’s main entrance on 30th Street. Additional and accessible parking available at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center as well as the Trading Post. This event is weather dependent.

September 5-7 - Labor Day Lift Off

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is an annual hot air balloon festival that takes place over Labor Day weekend, offering a spectacular display of colorful balloons taking flight at dawn. This family-friendly event, held in Memorial Park, attracts thousands of visitors each year to witness the vibrant lift-offs, as well as enjoy various activities, including live entertainment, food vendors, and interactive experiences. Pilots from across the country gather to participate in the lift-off, creating a breathtaking spectacle as the balloons ascend into the sky against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
